Telemedicine Assessment

Telemedicine Assessments are intended to sort out the nature and severity of the patient's problems. And to determine, if possible, whether the patient needs to be seen in person immediately, soon, or can be treated initially at home.  There is neither the intention to establish a definitive diagnosis nor a guarantee that the assessment will result in a favorable outcome.

The Telemedicine Assessment is intended to provide expert advice in a situation where/when an immediate office visit is not feasible.

The cost for a Standard Telemedicine Assessment during scheduled office hours is $69.00 for up to 15 minutes and is NOT REFUNDABLE.

However, if the patient is seen by one of our doctor(s) at Dover Shores Pet Care Center  {2075 Newport Blvd, Costa Mesa, CA, 92627} as a follow-up or as an adjunct to the same problem, the $69.00 will be applied as a credit to said visit provided that said office visit occurs within the 7 calendar day period immediately following the Telemedicine Assessment.

Telemedicine Assessments may use telephones, smartphones, computers, etc. and/or various software applications at the desecration of the veterinarian in-charge.

Not all situations lend themselves to telemedicine. If at any time during the assessment, you determine that it is the patient's best interest to be seen in person, simply notify the doctor.  If the patient is seen at our facility during scheduled business hours within the next 7 days, the fee for the Telemedicine Assessment will be credited toward the in-person examination.
